• MS student Prudential Spirit of Community Achievement winner
• MS 7^th grade had 21 Duke TIP Honorees

• Two high school students named Wendy’s HS Heisman State Finalists

SERVICE PROJECTS

• Faculty/Staff participated in fundraiser for breast cancer awareness
• Faculty/Staff/Students participated in two local blood drives
• Faculty/Staff/Students collected Coins for Cancer during the month of October
• First grade went to Alpine Nursing Home, sang Christmas songs and delivered gifts
• 3^rd grade writes letters to the veterans in the Veteran’s Home, participate in the Penny Wars, raise money for St. Jude Children’s Home through Math-A-Thon, participate in canned food drives for local CCA
• 4^th graders donated money and/or soccer balls to children in Africa
• 4^th and 5th grade provided snack baskets and thank you cards for our local heroes – fire and police departments
• Elementary 4-H Toy/Gift Drive for Methodist’s Children’s Home
• Middle School Student Council participated in Pack the Pantry for Ronald McDonald House, the Juvenile Diabetes Walk, collected dog food for 4PAWS and participated in Valentines for St. Jude’s
• Spanish Club participated in Samaritan Purse- Operation Christmas Child
• Key Club collected cereal for Methodist Children's Home
• HS students collected canned goods for Christian Community Action
• National Honor Society participates in DART Angel Tree Project and Valentines for St. Jude’s
• Geometry Class Quilt Project will benefit Juvenile Diabetes
• Girls softball had a fundraiser to benefit the Kitty Degree Breast Cancer Center in Monroe

SPORTS

• HS boy golf champion in the US Sports Specialty Association Junior Golf Championship for LA
• HS senior football player received FCA Character Award
• District 2 (1A)  1^st Team (13) and 1-coplayer; 2^nd Team 7; Honorable Mention (3); All State (10)
• 22 players were named to the District 2-A All District Team
• 22 players were named to the Ruston Daily Leader Elite 22 All Parish Team
• 12 players were named to the Monroe NewsStar All Northeast Louisiana Team
• 5 players were name to the Shreveport Times All Northwest Louisiana Team
• 12 players were named to the Louisiana Class A All State Team
• 8 players were named to the Louisiana Class A Academic All State Team
• 1 senior was named to the Composite (All classes) Louisiana Academic All State Team
• 1 senior was named District 2-A Offensive Co-MVP and the Ruston Daily Leader Bert Jones Offensive Player of the Year
• Coach of the Year was named the Ruston Daily Leader
• Senior girl named to All Star Basketball East Team
• Two senior girl basketball players named All State Honorable Mention
• Girls basketball coach named Coach of The Year
