• Elementary students (1-5) earned 14,355.4 Accelerated Reader points (voluntary reading program) and the average test score on book read was 85.18
• Elementary students won the Physical Fitness Award for the 9^th  year

• Two elementary students chosen to attend a Leadership event in Washington

• MS students were in the Strauss Theatre Young Troupe performance of Romeo and Juliet with one student getting the lead of Juliet

• MS Regional Science Fair (1^st) 1 + Naval award and 3^rd overall; (2^nd) 1; (3^rd) 4; (4^th) 2 & 3^rd over all school
• MS Regional Social Studies (1^st) 9; (2^nd) 4; (3^rd) 3 and (1) overall winner
• MS student 3^rd in the nation and (4) World Titles in horsemanship
• MS students competed in state National geographic geography Bee

SERVICE PROJECTS

• Faculty and Staff collected canned goods for Christian Community Action
• Elementary students participated in the St. Jude Math A Thom and raised $11,663. 
• 3^rd grade wrote letters to the residents of the Northeast LA Veterans Home
• 4^th grade made Christmas donation to the LA Baptist Children's Home
• Key Club collected cereal for Methodist Children's Home
• HS students collected canned goods for CCA
• Coins for Cancer collected during the month of October for Susan G. Komen Foundation in the amount of $5,000
• Middle School sponsored a food drive for the Ronald McDonald House
• Middle School sponsored a fund drive for the victims of Japan
• Middle School participated in the Juvenile Diabetes Walk
• HS/Faculty participated in the Blood Drive 
• Spanish Club participated in the Samaritan's Purse Operation Christmas Child
• HS geometry class made quilts and sponsored a raffle with proceeds going to St. Jude's

SPORTS

• Elementary Cougar Mile Record broken by 6 year old boy
• Four HS seniors named to the Academic All State Football 1A Team
• All State Football Louisiana Sportswriters (1st team) 1 and 1 Honorable Mention
• Football Team made the 1^st round playoffs
• 3 students qualified to participate in the state swim meet placing 7^th, 11^th, 15^th, 16^th in free style and breast stoke
• HS senior girl named Wendy's High School Heisman Winner
• One football senior player received the Lincoln Parish Fred Dean Award; 9 team members named 1^st team Elite 22 and 15 named to the Honorable Mention list
• Two senior girls named Academic All State Basketball Composite Team
• Girls basketball District Champs
• All District girls basketball 1^st team (3); 2^nd team (2); Honorable Mention (2) Coach of the Year; All Area girls basketball Honorable Mention (1); All State girls basketball HM (2)

• 2 HS seniors named to All Academic All State softball

• Four golf team members qualified for the LHSAA LA Champion Tournament and (1) finished 1^st at the tournament
• HS golf player named the 1-A individual champion for the 3^rd consecutive year
• Sr. boy set the Class A state record in javelin
• (3) Sr. boys signed athletic scholarships
• (3) softball players made Class A All State and (2) honorable mention
• (6) baseball players made Class A All State, (4) made honorable mention and (1)  Composite All State
• Sr. girl and boy made cheerleading team at the college level
