Basketball season is dynamic at Cedar Creek. The gym, nicknamed “The Brickhouse,” is definitely the place to be during Cougar basketball games. You can count on a capacity crowd in the student and fan sections and enjoy the performance of our outstanding cheerleaders and Emerald Entertainers.  

The second weekend in December, Cedar Creek hosts the annual Neill Killgore Memorial Tournament. The tournament is always a highlight of the season as girls and boys form across north Louisiana battle for the championship.

Cedar Creek has an established winning basketball tradition. The Lady Cougars have competed in the state playoffs for four of the last five years. The Cougars are always competitive and in the middle of the race for the district playoffs.
