My education at Cedar Creek gave me the academic foundation to achieve all of my goals and was the driving force behind me becoming an educator. I wouldn't trade my experience at Cedar Creek for anything and will never forget the faculty and friends that were so special to me. |

Admissions We are delighted that you are interested in learning more about Cedar Creek School. Our school is a community of families just like yours who respect education, celebrate learning, and desire a kind, nurturing environment for their children. We are a school where families of diverse backgrounds, races, religions, and nationalities share respect for their children, for others, and for themselves.
If you are visiting our Website for the first time, please take a few minutes to learn more about Cedar Creek. We value our teachers, and celebrate our students as they grow in the knowledge that they can be competitive in all aspects of life.
If you are a member of our Cedar Creek family, I encourage you to visit this Website often. In doing so, you will enjoy the accomplishments of our students and the excitement of our vibrant school life.
At Cedar Creek, our faculty is dedicated to challenging our students to develop their interests, talents, and a lifelong love of learning. These fundamental skills create a strong foundation for success in college and beyond. We believe a traditional core curriculum, grounded in the liberal arts and sciences and marked by the spirit of inquiry and reflection, is the best means toward cultivating individual excellence. We are proud that our students feel the need to honor their parents and community by actively participating in community service projects. Students also may explore their leadership skills by participating in Leadership Creek. Above all, we believe that in an effective educational program, students internalize and demonstrate moral, ethical, and civic values including personal responsibility, self-discipline, honesty, integrity, and respect and concern for others.
Ultimately, the success of an independent school is largely dependent upon the partnerships between our families, the school, and the community. Independent schools have three clients: their students, their parents, and their alumni. We believe as our mission states that “Cedar Creek School seeks to provide a superior college preparatory educational experience to students in North Central Louisiana based on the highest standards of academic excellence and personal conduct.”
We welcome your interest in Cedar Creek and encourage you learn more about our school. Should you choose to apply for admission for your children, it will be our pleasure to guide you through the admission process. Please contact Janet Nolan in our admission office (318) 255-7707 for additional information.
We look forward to assisting you as you make this important decision for your child and invite you to join us as we work together to continue the Cedar Creek tradition of Super Omnia – the best of all.
