| Cross Country
Cedar Creek’s Cross Country program has an established winning tradition. Since 1995, the girls program has won 11 State Championships, including 7 consecutive wins since 2001. The boy’s team continues to be strong finishers and has 4 State Championships and 2 Runner-Up titles. The success of the Cedar Creek Cross Country program is rooted in the determination and dedication of the team that has allowed them to maintain a winning legacy.
Cedar Creek enjoys a wealth of experience when it comes to running. Students in grades K-12 compete in their specific age divisions. The season begins in September and concludes in November with the State Championship in Natchitoches, Louisiana where a seven-member team earns the privilege to compete. Cedar Creek’s Cross Country team’s outstanding record is a sign of their commitment to the school’s motto, Super Omnia…the best of all.

The final regualr season state cross country poll ranking was fourth in the state. Drew Jimmerson was the 8th fastest boy in the Class -1A. What an outstanding job this team did. These boys had multiple winnings against some of the larger schools in the state of Louisiana and Mississippi. In all the but two regular season meets, they were the 1st Class 1-A school to place.
